Kristin came over to visit the babies on Saturday, and it was lots of fun to see her and catch up! She was really good with the babies and you could tell she had some "baby experience"! Jones wore his John Deere onesie for KR, and London insisted on wearing a dress. :) Don't the babies look huge in her arms?....maybe that's because KR weighs one pound?

I am ZONKED!
We had the busiest day yesterday filled with a ton of visitors! It was lots of fun to show off the babies, but man was I wiped out last night! (But I am every night, so that's not a new feeling...hehe)
Our first group was a bunch of family that hadn't seen the babies yet, and the kids were excited to hold J&L. The girls did such a good job with the babies and were so sweet to them. They had fun taking turns holding each baby....I foresee some babysitters in the future!!!
This is Trent and Pam, but unfortunately both their heads were down...doting on London of course! And notice Will taking a picture of his hand...he loved that camera!
Jen loving on Jones!
Kendall holding Mr. Jones
Parker & Kendall with London and her new big girl paci!!!
Abby & Jones!
Then Aunt Brooke came over at 2:30 as she was able to get off work a little early. We were able to catch up and she gave the babies some good love time. :) (I have known Brooke since I was 5 years old, so she definitely deserves the title "Aunt")
And then finally, we had a couple over last night for dinner that also has twins and were able to "grill" them on the many twin questions we had. They were so sweet to come out and offer advice and support.
By the time we did the 10:00 feeding, David and I were practically Zombies and could barely keep our eyes open. But we LOVED having the visitors, and of course having everyone "ooh and ahh" over Jones and London. What parent doesn't love that???

FOOD, FOOD, FOOD
One of my FAVORITE things to do is EAT! It doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert....food is a passion of mine! I love to cook and bake, but I also love going out to eat. David and I have fun trying new places, and we recently went to North Main BBQ in Euless for the 2nd or 3rd time. We had forgotten just how amazing the food is. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet for $12. That includes a drink and tax. You just run through the line and get all the ribs, brisket, turkey, chicken, sausage, and sides that your plate can hold! It is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend you giving it a try if you haven't. The Food Network recently did a piece on it and they just re-aired it last night again on the show "The Best Thing I Ever Ate".
The babies did a great job, and didn't have any fits while we were there! We are getting more and more brave with taking them out in public. :)
I finally received ALL of the babies professional photo shoot pictures and I love them! They are so cute, and I can't wait to go through and decide which one(s) I want to use for their announcement. FINALLY, I can send those out! Here is a sneak peek at one of their pics!!!

Slobbery Mess!
My babies have decided to become slobbery babies! They love to put their hands in their mouth and drool everywhere....and after some internet research, this sounds like the early signs of teething!!! WOW....they are only 3 months old! However, I cut my first tooth at 4 1/2 months, so I suppose it's possible for my babies to do the same.
Nana and I whipped out the teething ring the other day to see what London would do with it. We think she liked it!!!

Another thing we are attempting more of is "Tummy Time". I will admit....I am an awful Mommy and hate doing tummy time since the babies dislike it so much. However, I decided the other day that I need to get over it and begin a regular tummy time routine. SO, I made a chart (because I am THAT nerdy) and will check off each day that my babies have had their tummy time! Otherwise I will forget if I have done it for that day, and with which baby?!?! So we decided to try it on their Boppy the other day, and Mr. Jones did AMAZING! He was lifting up quite a bit, and even SMILED while doing it! Granted, this only lasted for a VERY short period of time before he realized that it was really hard and began to scream!!! But at least this picture is pretty dadgum cute!

3 Months Old!
WOO HOO...we are 3 months old today!!! We had a very relaxing birthday celebration today. Nana came over to help with a couple feedings, and we just hung out with the babies. They took several good naps today, and are asleep right now resting up for their 7:00 birthday dinner!
Here are a few pictures taken either today or recently...the babies have been VERY sleepy lately so not a lot of open eyes!
London was supposed to be burping, but Daddy caught her taking a snooze!
(usually he likes to keep them curled up)
Too sleepy to show you my eyes!!
All dressed up for his birthday picture!

Days Fly By...
I have heard from other mothers that your days fly by, but now that I am experiencing it first hand, I know they weren't lying!! It's almost kind of scary how the time goes, and I am trying to enjoy every last second with these babies. Even the seconds of high pitched shrills from my sweet boy. :)

We had our official first play date on Monday. Morgan and Jillian came over!!! Of course the babies had NO idea that other babies were around and that they were partaking in a "play date", but Morgan and I had fun! It was nice quizzing each other about new mommy stuff and trying to figure this all out at the same time. Jillian was very sweet and is DEFINITELY looking like a spitting image of her daddy! We attempted a group shot, but of course we couldn't get all babies still at the same time. Here are the 2 shots I got.
This Friday will be the babies' 3 month birthday! I am so proud of my big babies. They were weighed last week and Jones was 10 lb. and London was 10 1/2 lbs! She LOVE LOVE LOVES her bottles and is actually eating nearly double what Mr. Jones is eating. I think a lot of that also has to do with the fact that he is on nasty tasting formula so he doesn't enjoy eating like she does. Poor baby!
We have had some "near smilings" from Miss London today and that has made David and I's day! Hopefully we can catch it on camera....and I can't wait for Jones to do the same!

Happy 4th of July!
We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend with a trip to High Hill Ranch! We headed out Thursday after we had packed up the truck with literally every baby item I could think of. We were filled to the brim! A stop at Sonic & an hour and a half later we arrived! The babies ate and then went down for a nap while Mommy and Daddy cooled off in the pool. Aunt Jenn, Uncle T, and Rowan arrived shortly after!
Friday morning Aunt Jenn and I (and Rowan) went to Canton to shop (Canton is about 20 minutes away from the ranch). It was BY FAR the HOTTEST First Monday we had ever experienced. We were dripping with sweat, so it wasn't a long stay. We did get bows for London, and I got the babies each an embroidered onesie. We headed home for another pool day and I took a nice nap with the babies. The heat and lack of sleep really tuckered me out!
Here is London modeling her new onesie and 4th of July hairbow. She even cracked a little smile for the camera!
We did a wardrobe change and she put on her red, white, and blue skirt...and went topless! She doesn't appear overly happy with this look...but it was HOT!
I didn't put Jones in his new onesie (an embroidered green and black John Deere tractor) as these are not Fourth of July colors and we could only be color coordinated this weekend. Ha!
A neat tradition at HHR is that each grandchild has a tree planted in honor of them. Rowan's tree was planted last year, but this weekend Granny & Grampas picked up the stone they had made as a marker. It says "Rowan's Tree - 2008", which is when the tree was planted. The twins will have their trees planted during the winter I believe. I don't know anything about trees, but apparently that's when you need to plant them.
Saturday morning we all headed to downtown Ben Wheeler for their Fourth of July celebration. We had a great time listening to live music on the pickin' porch & eating hot dogs. Rowan even got to sit on a horse, but that lasted for only about 5 seconds. :) We headed home for more pool time! That evening some neighbors came over for dinner and David & Trevor did their fireworks show they have done now for several years. Pretty impressive to have your own display of fireworks that close! They did a great job!
We packed up Sunday morning and headed home. We had a great time at HHR, Granny & Grampas! We can't wait to go back!

Swaddle Success!
A BIG "thank you" to anyone who offered swaddling advice! I got phone calls, emails, texts, and comments and I appreciate them ALL! Morgan contacted me and said she had one of these "Miracle Blankets" and said Jillian hated it...but that I could use the one she had been given from a mom who swore by them. I crossed my fingers and put Jones in it that night. He slept better that night than he ever had before! (not a full night, but better) SO, David and I decided London needed one as well (even though she was sleeping pretty good already) The first night she wore the blanket she slept through the night!!!!! WOO HOO!!! I freaked out when I woke up the next morning to realize that the baby I was supposed to get up with in the middle of the night (David got Jones that night) never woke up! I raced into her room and found a perfect little sleeping angel! I had to wake HER up at 7:00. I am definitely liking these blankets, but I have to admit that I HATE putting them INTO the blankets. I really feel funny when I pin their arms in to the little folds...they definitely look like they are in straight jackets. It appears SO uncomfortable, but after seeing how well they sleep in them, I am trying to get over my own issues! haha
Here are my little burritos in the Pack'n Play this weekend
We had a FANTASTIC Fourth of July weekend at Granny & Grampas' ranch. (High Hill Ranch) Pictures of our fun weekend will be posted tomorrow once I actually get my 1 million baby items unpacked. :) Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th!
