Kissing Cousins

Rowan went in for "the kiss" from London on Christmas. I think she liked it!!!!!

Birthday Party

The twins' cousin, Rowan, turned 2 this month and had a great birthday party at the Children's Museum down at Fair Park. Jones and London were the youngest attendees, and couldn't partake in most of the "big kid" fun...but they still had a great time! There was a special area for little ones and the babies enjoyed that a bunch. Unfortunately, I don't have any shots WITH the birthday boy!!!

Happy Birthday, Rowan!!!

London now anticipates the flash on a camera and likes to close her eyes ahead of time!!! Silly girl!

Christmas Card Pics

I made the mistake of not planning far enough in advance to do a Christmas picture for this year. I had J&L's outfits all ready...and just figured Connie could snap a picture of them in some outdoor setting. WELL, when it finally came time to take the picture, the weather turned colder and overcast several days in a row and not OK for an outdoor shoot! Oh No!

SO, I called Lynn and begged her to shoot the kids because I needed a Christmas card pic STAT! She happily agreed (even though she doesn't regularly shoot kids) and allowed me to bring my whole family to work. hehe

It has been nearly 2 WEEKS since I ordered my cards (note to self: don't use Winkflash again) and they still have not arrived. I am NOT happy about that, but hopefully everyone will enjoy receiving some belated Christmas wishes from my babies!

Thanks, Lynn, for saving the day!!!

Oh, the weather outside is...getting colder

I wouldn't consider the weather "frightful", but we definitely have had some pretty cold days recently...so Jones & London got to get snuggled up in their snow caps. SWEET STUFF!

Vroom! Vroom!

For those of you that don't know, I do a part-time job working for a professional photographer. (I don't do any of the shooting...only stuff AFTER the images are shot) Anyways, I went to work the other day and my wonderful boss, Lynn, showed me this ADORABLE pedal car and asked if I wanted it for the twins!!!! I did not hesitate for one second...YES!!! It used to be one of her props for "kid shoots", but she's stopped shooting kids so she gave it to me!!! YIPPEE!!

I had to get a few shots of the babies in the car the day I brought it home. Of course the babies are a bit small for it now, but they will LOVE it in a couple of months!!!!

A Few New Things

We FINALLY put a highchair to use yesterday and let Jones give it a whirl. He did great, but I think he looks tiny in it! He was VERY proud of himself. After dinner he got in his bouncy seat and couldn't stop smiling and squealing!! My SWEET boy!!

London continues to get better and better at sitting up on her own. I am so proud of her. She had just finished getting a bath and decided she needed a little practice. After awhile of using her arms for support, she gets brave and lifts them up to balance on her own. Big girl!!!

Fun with our Grandparents!!

What a FUN time these babies had with their grandparents while we were out of town. I didn't worry once while we were away as I knew they were in very good hands! (I didn't say I didn't miss them though)

Mr. Jones got to take a few strolls around the neighborhood. Nana said he loved it, but that fresh air put him right to sleep!

Jones did lots of bouncing in his Jumperoo! He has so much fun in it. :)

Happy girl with her Grampas!

Granny & Grampas took London to Target to go shopping and they said she was a natural. She behaved well and I think they bought her nearly 1 of everything in the clothes section.

Thanks Nana, Granny, & Grampas for keeping our precious babies! Y'all are the BEST!

Our Trip - Part 2

We went to "Fix" in the Bellagio for our anniversary night dinner. All 3 courses were DELISH!

All I need to say here is Banana filled Doughnuts with dipping sauces.
David & I rockin' our cowboy boots!
Then we headed to see "O" after dinner. It was AMAZING! David called and asked which seats would be the best view...they were PERFECT! (and we didn't get splashed which was nice)
I've always wanted to see Cirque du Soleil and it exceeded my expectations!!
What a fantastic trip with the love of my life!!! I love you, David!!!

Our Trip - Part 1

David surprised me Tuesday night by telling me we were headed to Vegas the following day to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary! I was shocked...but had been given a clue earlier that I needed to prepare myself to leave the babies for a couple nights. :)
London went to stay with Granny & Grampas and Jones stayed with Nana. Both babies and grandparents had a fabulous time and so did David and I! Happy Anniversary, David...I love you!!
The view out our window. We stayed at the Paris hotel since we went to Paris on our honeymoon. How sweet is that? :)
Our favorite place...the Le Rendezvous Concierge Lounge. And It was a really fun name to say too!!

Happy Birthday to...

...DAVID!!!! It was David's 30th birthday on Friday and it was such a great day! I fooled him in the morning with his gift by giving him an A&M decal for his truck and a custom T shirt that has Jones and London's names on it. (cute stuff at www.basiccouture.net) Anyways, he THOUGHT that's all I got him. But this is his 30th....so come on, he needed something BIG!!!

David's "fake" birthday gifts

So we headed over to Jenn and Trev's for a special gift "from Rowan". Rowan delivered a large envelope to David that had the number 13 in stick-on letters in it. (these are numbers that people put on racing bikes, etc.) I thought this clue would totally give it away, but David was totally stumped at what was going on. So we proceeded to lead him to the garage to reveal his new.........

DIRT BIKE!!!!

David in complete shock. The picture is blurry cause my hands were shaking cause I was so excited.
David opening the numbers "13" and not knowing what they were.

In the 10 years I have known David, I have NEVER seen him more shocked or more excited. I had a whole weekend planned for him at the ranch so he could ride. I shopped in Canton, and he rode his motorcycle all day. We ate all of his favorite foods as Connie and I planned each meal especially for him! It was a great weekend and we hope you had a wonderful memorable 30th, David!!!!
