A Little Game

David and I invented a new game where we predict how many people will comment on the twins when we enter a store. We were shocked the first time we went out with them and a million people had to stop us and say something. Apparently, people love seeing twins and saying nice things. We have found that we average about 8 comments in one outing. Pretty crazy?!

We had to go get Daddy some new work shirts the other night, and the twins made their side-by-side stroller debut! We love it!!

Not gonna lie....had a little difficulty pushing this thing through tight areas! Gotta work on my driving skills.

Had to include this sweet picture of Jones smiling because he was having such a great time with Daddy!

Long Time No Post

I must say that I should win the award for "worst blogger" lately. I do have some pretty good excuses though. I accepted a temp. position back in Coppell to help out a teammate who had to take off the first 3 weeks of work. So I worked a couple days a week for the past 3 weeks doing my old job. (just at a different school) I had a really good time at this school, but it absolutely proved to me how I am meant to be at home with my babies. I wasn't sad or weepy while I was at work, and was so busy that I only had 1 chance a day to call home and check in on them. However, the whole process really helped remind me how fortunate I am to be able to be home with the babies and how much I love it. A HUGE thank you to Granny and Nana for being my wonderful babysitters the past 3 weeks. It didn't take much to twist their arms to do so. ;)

We recently went to High Hill Ranch for Labor Day. We had a blast and the babies did well. (I say they did well, but they actually slept with Granny and Grampas both nights so David and I could have a break in case they woke up. Jones woke up both nights, but fortunately Granny was there to the rescue and had no problem rocking him back to sleep...she spoils him and I love it!)

All dressed for High Hill Ranch. Jones is wearing hunting gear and London is wearing her "Cowgirls Don't Cry" onesie that is now skin tight. She was also wearing her fringed cowprint hightops that are just a bit too big still! hehe Can you tell I love dressing them???

Here I am partaking in the HHR Labor Day Olympics. We have competitions every year and I must admit that I am the reigning champion!!! The prize is a Target giftcard which is perfect since that is one of my favorite places to go! Here I am throwing a horseshoe...Look at that form! ha
Here's Daddy (Grampas) competing in another "event" where we threw a tennis ball into the pool raft holes! Each row was worth a different number of points. This event was extra hard, but lots of fun.

Hope all of you had a wonderful Labor Day as well!

Gulf Shores

What a great time we had on vacation this year to Gulf Shores, Alabama! The whole family went and we had a blast. We took a TON of pictures, but I don't want to bore you with TOO many. Here are a few.

All 3 grandchildren...London, Rowan, & Jones!
First time at the beach with the babies! The water was too cold to set them in it.
Babies, Daddy, and Mommy sitting by the pool.
(yet another picture where my daughter looks like my sister...I swear this girl is mine!)
Granny & Grampas soakin' in the sun!
David doing a sweet frisby move. hehe
And yes, he does have a mohawk. This is a vacation tradition.
Ready to head to dinner...so of course London needed to throw on a beach dress.
At "Lamberts" getting rolls thrown at us. Ahhhhhh, a little slice of heaven!
Jones feels great after he got his "post beach" bath.
Daddy & Jones on the ferry.
Missy posing in her "Thing 1" outfit. (Jones was in "Thing 2" of course!)
Thanks, Amy, for outfitting my twins in adorable onesies!
We went to the Blue Angels practice in Pensacola and it was SO amazing.
David and I were a bit preoccupied though holding in the world's tiniest earplugs in the babies' ears.
London and I getting ready for the family picture.

The WHOLE gang!!!! Can't wait to go back!
