Summer Fun

The Summer is just beginning and it's HOT! We had fun running through the sprinklers the night before last. I'm hoping to get the kiddos used to water on the face before we attempt the pool this summer!

The splash park across the street just opened up for the summer and we can't wait to go play! Might have to be a nightly ritual to get these little bears tired!

We walked Gaga & Daddas out to their car after sprinklers and Jones ended up in the back of Papa's red pickup which was at our house. He had fun playing around and then decided to be a model and take some serious shots. ;)

Then he remembers...WAIT...I must kiss Daddas one more time before he leaves!

More Gym Time

Blake celebrated his 3rd birthday at The Little Gym just a couple of weeks after the twins. I was interested in seeing them play there without all the attention on them. (these are my kids...they hate to be the center of attention) I had a feeling they'd do much better, and I was right! They had a great time and were much more relaxed!

TWO TIMES TWO!

It's official....I have (2) two-year-olds!! How crazy is that?!? We celebrated with a "superhero themed" birthday party which was a theme that I thought could work for both boys and girls. I did not, however, feel they needed to dress up like Superman or Superwoman...so instead, they wore super cute capes and went to Superhero Training Camp. (AKA: The Little Gym)

WARNING: This post has approx. 7,000 pictures, and to the average blog reader, this is entirely too many. However, this mama wants to document this special occasion so please try not to be bored to tears with the excess of pics.

Note to self: Do not put your super shy 2 year olds in the middle of a parachute, have them sit in the center, and then proceed to have everyone walk in a circle rotating them around. Not.good.

How cute do Jillian and Jones look together? And their names sound perfect together....that's it, we better start planning the wedding!

Overall, their party was a great success! I thank God each day that I am Jones and London's mother. I feel honored that I was entrusted to raise them and share my life with them. Happy 2nd Birthday, my sweet twins. I can't wait to celebrate many more birthdays with you.
