SLOW DOWN in the rain!!

I have to vent and say that I am tired of people speeding in the rain!!! We all see those cars that fly by us on the highway in a downpour and wonder why they think they're invincible!?!

David, the babies, and I were driving down George Bush yesterday in the rain and all of sudden got hit from behind by a speeding car that lost control. The guy totaled his BMW 745...bummer for him! Fortunately, the babies are JUST fine and slept through the whole accident. However, I was pretty livid that this guy was being reckless in the rain. VERY small amount of damage on my car considering what could have happened if David hadn't regained control of the car so quickly. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Other than that, everything is going great in the Laughlin household and the babies are continuing to grow bigger and bigger each day! We are getting more and more consistent rolling from them both so that is neat to see. :) These babies are such a joy and we thank God he was protecting them (and us) yesterday.

Fajitas & Football

We went to Breck & Derek's last night for some fajitas and football. We brought J&L along and they behaved nicely. :) I had a good time catching up with some old high school friends and just hanging out! Thanks for the invite, B&D!

Jones was up for most of the party, but eventually pooped out! He told me he was THRILLED that the Aggies beat Tech though!!!!!! WHOOOOOP!!!

2nd Attempt in Halloween Costumes

The babies were in a fantastic mood this afternoon at Granny & Grampas's house so we put on our pumpkin costumes again and decided to SMILE!!! Please know that they are holding hands in this picture even though you can't see it!!

First Attempt at the Pumpkin Patch

We headed over to the pumpkin patch last weekend to try and get some shots of the babies and the pumpkins. The day ended up being cold and damp and the babies weren't thrilled! We got very few smiles...but I think my pumpkins still looked adorable!

Tree Planting

David & Trevor planted Jones and London's trees at HHR recently. David chose Red Oaks for the babies and they are so pretty. I can't wait to see them grow over the years, and I know the babies will think it's so neat that those are "THEIR" trees!

Fun at the Farm

Here's a recent shot of Granny, Grampas, Jones, and London...aren't the babies getting so big!?!?!

We went to HHR this weekend for Grampas' birthday celebration and had a great time. Jones got a new John Deere hat and wanted to model it without wearing any clothes! (He also decided to do a very serious face for this pose even though he LOVES to smile)

And London got all dressed up for Grampas' birthday dinner on Saturday evening. We had turkey and all the fixings since that's his favorite meal. I can't wait till the babies are old enough to partake in the YUMMY food our family eats! This family loves to cook!! (and I hope London loves to too!)
